News : French cult veterans mercyless on tour with affliction gate

Sunday, October 23rd the french cult death metal band Mercyless will play a show in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Affliction Gate from France too will join them.


Mercyless
Cult Death Metal since 1987. One of the leading and most respected bands together with Massacra, Loudblast and Aggressor thanks to 2 masterpieces in the early 90's : "Abject Offering" in 1992 and "coloured funeral" in 1993 on Century Media. Both produced by Colin Richardson. Then, touring across Europe with Morgoth/Samael/Unleashed/Tiamat in 1993 and DEATH in 1994. The band is recently reformed and actively working on a new album in their most deadly style!

Affliction Gate
Formed in 2006, Affliction Gate belongs to the rising new wave of bands who entirely worship and pay homage to the traditional death metal as it used to be back in the late 80's / early 90's through classic stuffs of Unleashed, Asphyx, Bolt Thrower, Massacre etc...
After the "Severance..." EP in 2008 and their debut album "Aeon Of Nox..." in 2009, the band will soon unleash their brand new release "Shattered Ante Mortem Illusions" MCD. First gig ever in Holland.
